Birkenstock
Granada sandal materials for the Birkenstock granada and similarly feminine Birkenstock Florida or
the Birkenstock Nias are
all the best. When selecting the raw materials for our
Granada Birkenstock footbed, only the best will do: only especially pure and high-quality natural cork is used here.
We think there should be a Birkenstock tree made just for us, with leather and
buckles around the waist, and of course it would be so pretty. Until then, we
use the real tree and the latex milk taken from the bark of the cork tree is processed in many steps subject to
careful controls into an adhesive substance which holds the cork granulate together. Due
to its tensile strength, latex keeps the footbed elastic and ensures a long
lifetime wear. The textile plant fiber jute also has to first be roasted, peeled, combed,
cleaned and then made supple before it can be spun into jute fabric and then used to
stabilize our footbed and absorb moisture.
Another quality feature that distinguishes Birkenstock
sandals from other brands is the elongated cut of the upper material toward the heel. This holds the feet firmly in the footbed and brings them to their optimal position when the heel is set down during the walking motion. Our buckles are also made with the greatest care: each buckle is protected against corrosion with baked-on enamel, making them especially durable. The clamps attaching the buckles to the upper material are curved inwards so that they cannot be felt. For an optimum hold, the buckles are clamped in four places.
These sandals stands for quality from the buckle to the sole. We place great value on the soles in use. They are made of EVA (ethylvinylacetate) and are distinguished by a high degree of abrasion resistance and insulation properties.
Tip: Are you having heel pain? Some people get cortizone shots and anti-inflamatory
medication for heel pain and they don't understand where it came from. They
lived all their lives wearing what they wanted, and now there is nothing that they can do to stop the pain and all of their shoes are suddenly hurting them. Ask your Podiatrist if they will prescribe Birkenstocks so that you may be able to consider them a tax deduction in some circumstances. Birkenstock Granada or other Birks offer sufficient support and toe box room that they might contribute to your good health, but consider getting rid of any footwear that hurt you now
such as high heels and narrow shoes, before the pain gets worse and the regret
more encompassing.
tip: Do your sandals wear out on the heel
at an angle? Ask your doctor if you over-pronate or supinate. These conditions
are common and can lead to a condition called achillies tendonitis. What happens
is that your heel area gets stressed and then inflamed causing your heel to
degenerate. That is a nasty word when it is your body we are talking about. This
can happen naturally when your feet are not supported properly, even if you
never wore high heels. If you get a shooting or burning pain, especially in the
morning when you first get up, do not ignore it, see your podiatrist and save
yourself a lifetime of trouble. While you are there, ask her to prescribe
Birkenstock Florida sandals so that you can see if you can deduct them on your
taxes. Proper shoe selection is key to the process. Remember, your feet might
get more abuse in your lifetime than any other body part. Stay prepared and
healthy so that the miles to go before you sleep will be down the path of
comfort.
