If you love our sandals this is the next closest thing.
Soft and easy uppers are fully adjustable. Features original
contoured footbed, and shock absorbing PU sole. Fully resoleable
and renewable.
The new shoes are well-laced and so comfortable: our three
new closed models have a footbed covered with calf leather
that can be removed and exchanged. It is the same as the
comfortable footbed that we use for all sandal and clog
models. Only the toe-gripper was somewhat toned down, because
the cut form of Devon
and Harrison already provides support. All models are processed
with an inner padding of calf leather which is especially
moisture-absorbent. In addition, these classic casual shoes
have a light and intensely insulating sole made out of polyurethane
(PUR).
Chronicle 1774 Johann Adam is entered in the church archives
of the parish of Langenberg Hessen as a shoemaker and vassal.
1896 The master shoemaker, Konrad, with two shoe shops in
Frankfurt, starts to produce flexible footbed insoles. 1899
From now on and for the next 15 years, Konrad holds seminars
and lectures for other leading shoemaker masters and guilds,
expounding his ideas for a flexible custom shoe, and obtaining
license contracts for the production of his footbed shoes.
Travels all over Germany and Austria for this purpose.
